The Brits actually regulate the amount of touch up that can be done to a photograph so that it accurately portrays what a product can do. Jo Swinson, Member of British Parliament has been pushing the Advertising Watchdogs in Britain to help bring advertising back to reality, "Pictures of flawless skin and super-slim bodies are all around, but they don't reflect reality," Swinson said "Excessive airbrushing and digital manipulation techniques have become the norm, but both Christy Turlington and Julia Roberts are naturally beautiful women who don't need retouching to look great. This ban sends a powerful message to advertisers – let's get back to reality."
